Father's Day and Summer Solstice
Father's Day
Sunday morning, Father's Day, Ian was awoken to licks and kisses, puppy style. The girls were so excited to celebrate papa's first father's day. Both Jewel and Willow presented father with signed cards. Ian was surprised to find that their handwriting was worse then his. Grandpa Rich was impressed that they could get to the card store and pick out their own cards. Like many father's the world over, the comemorations ended and Ian was back to work on the recently started kitchen remodel.
Summer Solstice
June 21st, being the longest day of the year, seemed like a good day to have the season's first after work picnic. The girls were brushed and top knots tied, wine selected (Spanish), and quick stop at Trader Joes for munchies, and off we went to Seattle's Gas Works. A beautiful view of downtown Seattle, Space Needle and all. Unfortunately the girls had to be kept on a leash, but bountiful watermelon made up for that. (Note to self: limit water melon quantities or be prepared to clean up messes in the middle of the night or next day). There isn't much else to say other than to enjoy the pictures.

Great post. Happy Summer Solstice from Norway:-)
Your dogs are soooo cute! They are a joy to look at while I'm at work, missing my two shih tzus!
p.s. I have heard that dogs cannot eat some types of fruits. Grapes are one of them. My dogs barf whenever they eat them. I also think your dogs eat poop because they are missing meat, if in fact you feed them vegetarian.
