Puppy Vocabulary

Our dogs may not be smarter than your honor student, but given that they're only 4 1/2 year old shih tzu, they have an impressive command of the English language. Mastered vocabulary and phrases in their repertoire:

Who wants to go for a walk.
Who wants a treat.
Who's thirsty
Daddy's home.
Hair do.
Mommy's car.
brushies.
Ball (jewel only)
P-a-r-k (just in case they can read now....)
swimming
jumpie
neighbors
visitors
"stop" (not now) VS "no" (='s never)
Grandma's coming
Auntie Chai and Cousin Belle's house (doggie cousins)
Couch time
bed time
shower
sit
down
roll over
freeze
dance dance dance!!
high five
shake
gimme ten
woo Hoo!
say please
kisses
all done? time to go? (miraculously makes Jewel spit the ball at my feet)
puppy store
Fishy (salmon oil= medicine time)
brushy teeth
and the biggest obsession right now..... SQUIRREL!

Shih Tzu are very smart dogs! My girl Chloe knows quite a few phrases as well! Your dogs are adorable by the way, I love how you keep them long! I do the same with my Shih Tzu :)
